When I go into a game, whenever I fire weapon I automatically die, I assume this is because I am banned or something, will this go away in time or do I have to do something?

This doesn't seem like a bann... It seems more like a strange problem. I have no idea what to tell you dude, the best thing to do is to ask in some populated half life forums, because this one isn't too lively...

Try Reming the game completely then reinstalling it

ok u didnt get banned some one is either pulling a prank on you or you messed with the controlls and what some one did is they bined keys because if you type in the console kill you will die and some one bined keys to kill and shootyou have to un bind them

hey dude? your not banned its just the controls were rebinded so that everytime u fire a weapon with the control it used to be you die because its binded to the command kill instead of normal firing. so my guess is to be you need to rebind your controls to normal[u][/u]
