Hi, I'm having trouble with the first safe. I understand that the combination is his daughters birthdate (day, month, year as it says in the diary). The trouble is, when the frickin' hell was that?

I haven't found any other documents, and I can't go back inside the house because the door is locked. Can someone tell me the combination or tell me where to get the combination from? Nobody will talk to me, and there are no other books. I'm totally puzzled.

the combination is in the diary upstairs where you let the "beast" out and kills the kid

if you didn't pick it up or can't figure it out then the riddle is something like

Her birthday is 10 years yesterday...in other words you have to find the current date and trace back 10 years and of course minus 1 day

I've had problems with this one too, even after reading a multitude of guides........ It's meant to be the above code starting going clockwise for the first number, anti clockwise for the second, clockwise for the third, ac for the fourth. Done this, %^&$"-ing thing still doesnt open :/

try it a number of ways, that's how I did it

start from 0, go clockwise to 2, anti-clockwise to 6, clockwise to 1 and anti-clockwise to 2

if that don't work, try the other way around, start from 0, go anti-clockwise to 2, clockwise to 6, anti-clockwise to 1 and clockwise to 2

That worked... how odd... the guides say it should be the other way round.... Cheers
