What are some improvements you feel need to be added to this game from the past ones?

Well to have mroe boards and have more minigames and very very good graphics.The same graphics in MP4.Mp4 had good graphics.

Yeah, I was very pleased with the graphics, the graphics have been good even on the N64. That's never been a problem with the games.

Have more boards, mini games and more characters and to have good graphics.

Mario Party 4 was a big disappointment for me. I just hope Mario Party 5 can improve. Here are things that can improve for me.

The graphics:

Sure the graphics in Mario Party 4 are just "good", but since I'm a big critic, it's not enough for me. I know Nintendo can improve the graphics, that's what I'm expecting out of this game.

The Mini-Games:

There were about 40 new Mini-Games in Mario Party 4, enough to make me laugh at. I'm really expecting this game to have a lot of at least decent Mini-Games. Mario Party 4 just didn't have enough to satisfy me. I need more!!!

The characters:

In Mario Party 4, as well as Mario Party 3, there were all the same characters. Let me name them. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi. 8 characters when they could have added more. They should have more characters in this game, or I'm not even going to consider buying it.

The Duel Boards:

There were hardly any Duel Boards in Mario Party 4 to satisfy me. I am 100% sure that Nintendo could have done a whole lot better to improve the Duel Boards and could have added more. I'm really expecting more duel boards.

That pretty much raps it up with my "big speech".

This may be a coincidence, but it seemed like two games with the same characters, and then add some. Mario Party 1 and 2 had everyone but Waluigi, and my personal favorite, Daisy. Then MP3 and MP4 had everyone. My bet is that they're going to add some more. But like I said, that could just be a coincidence.

I really think that they should bring back some older games to MP5! I LOVED Eatsa Pizza. The 1-on-1 Duels were really fun, and needed to be in the fourth one. Hey Batter, Batter! was a great Item Game! I really think that they should add tons of new ones, while bringing back some of the old classics! But NO NO NO NO NO to Slot Car Derby! I HATED THAT GAME!!!!!!!

ctually i read in a nintendo power magazine there is gonna be some new characters and some may not be coming back.

i know but there may be some people in here that don't know that cause they may not look through every page.

I think that they should keep all of the items from MP3 and throw out the ones from MP4. All of the items in MP3 were better and they were a lot cheaper. Also, the golden mushroom didn't make you skip over any thing like the star and the Item Shop like the mega mushrooms do. The Mini Mushrooms were kind of cool, though.

They should keep some of the games from the other Mario Partys like Bumper Balls, Skateboard Skamper, Castaways, Three Throw, Domination, and some others. Also, make more mini-games than just a wimpy 50 like in MP4. I mean c'mon, even MP3 had 70 and that was on the N64.
