2.) Stay on-topic.

We only talk about Mario Party 5 in this forum, any other game has its own forum

3.) If there is already a thread about your topic, use that.

For example, we only want one pictures thread, or one thread about the release date.

4.) Don't talk to yourself, also known as Duplicate Posting.

You should never have to reply to your own post, or have a post appear right after your own. Use the edit feature to add new material. This leads to our next rule...

5.) Do not bump threads.

If a thread has not received attention, it will start to sink to the bottom of the pile. Don't post again just for the sake of bringing it to the top again. Only very special circumstances will allow for this.

6.) Don't try to cause trouble under the guise of a guest poster or unwashed heathen.

Believe it or not, we can tell its you We usually laugh and promptly ban naughty members for this.

7.) No flaming.

Making fun of members or calling people names can hurt all our feelings So don't do it! One way moderators can make them feel better is to ban you for flaming

8.) No bad language.

Lots of kids play the Mario Party series of games, as a result, zero-tolerance for bad language. If you aren't comfortable saying a certain word in front of a parent, grand parent or teacher, you better not say it.

9.) Ban dodging.

If for whatever reason you get a ban, be honorable and take it like a man/woman/goomba. Don't start posting on your other account, as moderators we are obligated to inform a superior of ban dodging. The result, permanent ban site wide.

10.) Memberating.

My favorite rule to enforce. You may not REQUEST FOR CLOSURE, under any circumstance. Use common courtesy when a new member posts. 99% of the time they are unfamiliar as to how our forums work, and our customs. Always answer their question, never say "oh this thread is done man go here. Thats rude, and bad courtesy. Punishment is at the mods discretion.

As a final note, mods are your friends. Not part of the Neoseeker Gestapo. If you're a good kid, we won't ever ban you without a reason.
