the story is just bad...too short and the ending is the crummiest ever.
BUT, and that is a very big but, the partymode and extra modes are well worth, and you should buy this game.
It's great and diverse mini-games. So much fun, and the boards are big and full of suprises. The new super duel mode, is a way to addd lots of length to the game. and over 70 mini-games adds lots of fun

Yes, I love Mario Party games. Mario Party 3 was very fun too. Mario Party 4 was a bit of a let-down. But I hope I get this for Christmas.

yeah, this game sounds like a BLAST! i can't wait 'til christmas... of course, i'm asking for a wavebird to go with it. are those heavier than normal controllers? just wondering.

It's too bad Story Mode sucks. The mini-games were good and the maps were better.

the boards were always good and hopefully they'll only get better as the MP series goes on. eventually though nintendo will make the most horrible story mode in the world and the game won't sell. then it'll be all over. let's hope that that doesn't happen!

Yeah I'm gunna start the 4th map for the story mode and so far I'm really not very impressed. I mean it's fun that one person can play through a story and everything, but the party mode is so much cooler. ANd the Super duel Mode is like the best thing in the game. Adding that was a very wise move. It's so much fun to customize a whacky car made out of mushrooms. Any way the game gets an 8/10 I'd say. It's a very fun thing with friends.

The story mode is not terrible, but it is not the best, it could have had a lot more to it. I have not played Party Mode with friends, so I don't know yet.

Just play party mode by yourslf with cpu's. It's still a blast.

No it's more fun cuz you get to choose your maps, and which cpu characters you want. It kinda gets old just battling the Koopa Kids.
