Who do you guys think is the best player in the game? in my opinion the best character in this game is Vincent Lecaiviler because he is like 99 at the end and you can have him for all dynasty mode and he gets over 100 points each year and is a superstar player.

I say Kovalchuk. This guy when you play with him you just take a little wrist shot and scores easily.

Well Kovalchuk is a great player as well but for some reason i think Lecaiviler is better cuse his slap shot is faster and he seems a faster skater.

Kovalchuk has 99 speed, agility and acceleration. He is the best player. I always try to get him. Other plpayers are 99's but that doesnt mean they are better. Thornton is like a 98 and for some reason I don't like to use him.

Kovalchuk is better I think, cause he has 99 in a lot of things, but I think Vinny Lecavalier is better at the rougher side of the game and has close to the same stats as Kovalchuk.

On my super save, where every forward, defenseman and goalie in my team is 90+, I've realized that the single best attacker is Mikko Koivu from TPS. He jumped from 80 OVR to 95 in one season. After the second one, he was maxed OVR. He can score from the blue line to everyone except Hasek. Heatley is dang good too, clearly better than Lec or Kov.

The best defender is inarguably Scott Niedermayer. Awesome slapshot, terrific checking and an inhuman speed for a defender.

The best goalie is ofcourse Dominik Hasek, only he can pull off some the saves, and he seems to have his own set of comments from the dudes talking all the time (lol)

But yeah, Koivu and Heatley vaporize Kovalchuck and Lecavalier. They're both 99 after few seasons.
