Can anyone help a mom out?
My son has the game Star Trek New Worlds. The game used to play then he used to get the error, "stnw.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.."
Well we thought it was my computer, I bought him a new computer and it is still doing it.
His computer isn't hooked up to the internet and I am not that computer savey to fix it.
Can anyone lead us in the right direction to fix this?

I am sorry for your son. You remind me of me and my mother. I was really excited to get this game and then it became a disappointment.

This was a very poorly written game. It really only works on windows 98. Make sure that you play around with the compatibility modes (right click on game icon, properties, compatibility). The manufacturer will not respond to you. They have a forum on their website, but it has been under construction for a long, long time.
