I have a Nvidia Geforce2 Mx 100/200 graphics card at the moment and i was told to see if its a WGP or something but i dont know what that means. If you could please explain that would be greatly appreciated ! Also im looking into buying a Nvidia Geforce 7800, but i was told that it might not make much difference. Surely this is wrong because my card is quite old, so a newer one would certainly be better on Computer game graphics ?

re: 2 questions

The GeForce 2 is either PCI or AGP 4x. Unless your motherboard is pretty new and you only could just find a GeForce 2 odds are you won't be able to use any of the newer cards since the are mostly PCI express. They still make some AGP 8X cards which might work with your computer but they'll run really slow.

Those were total crap when new in 2001 or so (forever ago in terms of video card progress).

There was never an MX made that was worth the cost of making the box it was sold in. The most recent of them, misleadingly relabelled as "GF4" cards, were nothing of the sort, and the MX 4000, in fact, was a crummier card than the MX 440 that came before it.

Any PC so low-powered than an MX was matched to it is well below the level of using a 7800, and 7800 of any kind. The power supply will be inadequate, the AGP slot will most likely be AGP2, not AGP3, etc. The litany of incompatibilities is a mile long.
