.better training camp. maybe hav actual drills like in Madden 2004.

.more animations for post ups-more shots, not just fadeaway and baby hook.

.better draft- maybe a mock draft and also hav players h-skool and college stats.

.u shood be able to offer a contract to FA's, not just accept wat they say is their value. also, no good FA's shood be left after the off-season. ive had KG,AI and Stephon Marbury in their for mininum wage. thats neva gonna happen in real life.


in general i think the gameplay is excellent, and i like those animations when u sign a big name player, he walks into the new clubhouse. and when a player from ur team whens an award, those little press conferences are kool

ya i agree with you about the training camp thing, that it should be like Madden 2004 and you get to actually DO the drills and other stuff.

more shooting styles. i no for sure that KG and SHAQ dont shoot the same from 15', so y do they in the game!!!!!

I think they should fix some big problems in the game.

1. Durring a fastbreak, you have a team mate running up the court wideopen, ready to lay in a score, almost 70% of the time you pass it to that open team mate, the pass is way to high, resulting in him having to jump for the ball, killing the fastbreak. FIX THAT!

2. When I pass it into a C/PF who is posting up behind a defender with a high blocking rating, the defender goes for the steal trying to deflect the pass into my C/PF, but he misses it and my C/PF has an open basket for the dunk... BUT the defender I previously beat to the pass comes out of NO WHERE and blocks the dunk before I can get it off... remember I just beat this guy to the ball, and he's completely out of the play, he comes back way to fast!

3. I hate how big men shoot the ball, they always release it like they've never shot a basketball in their life, despite having high field goal ratings.

4. When you're defending a player near the sidelines sometimes he'll back down off of you and dribble with his back facing to you... except he dribbles right on the out of bounds line, turning it over. WTF?

Those are somethings I'd like to see fixed.

yeh, i thort this game wood be WAYYYY betta than it is. Its annoying how Sheed who is an awesome shooter from 20' onwards has such a sloooooooooooowwwwww release on his shot. in real life he shoots like a guard, but in the game he SUXXXxxxxx.
i can tell u now i aint gonna buy NBA LIVE 2005, i'll save my money and buy a GOOOOOOD game!!!!!!!

Yeah, get a good training camp to actually play. Fix the PF/C shooting because some of them actually have good shooting range but NBA Live 2004 just messed it up.

yeh, guys like SHEED hav ok 3PT ratings (around 70 i the game) but his SHOT RELEASE is so DAMN slow!!!!!!!!!

Some other stuff that absolutely pisses me off in the game that I'd like to get fixed.

When you take a rebound or steal and your running the fast break and you have a fast PG running ahead of everybody, a large PF should not be able to catch up to him out of nowhere then block it right out of his hands.

Something similar to that, on the fastbreak...I go for the dunk/lay up and the defender just CLOBBERS me, and I usually never get the foul. It's funny too because sometimes Mike Fratello will say something like "the defender gave him a little tap to change the result on the play" BULLSHIT! Little tap my ass, give me the *bleep*in foul! And I know sometimes refs will miss easy calls in real life, but this happens way too often, no matter how high I set the in air collesion foul frequency I rarely get the call.

Another thing is the computer shot selection late in the game, it never seems to disappoint me when the computer is down by 1 with PLENTY of time on the clock, and sometimes they'll take some silly fadeaway shot from downtown, with no chance of it going in, to lose the game, wtf!?

There's a glitch where sometimes when you get fouled and make the basket, you don't go to the freethrow line, you have to pass it in bounds.

When you're defending a player and he beats you and has an open lane to the basket, NOBODY comes over to help and defend the basket, they just let him dunk it in It' sometimes hard to quickly choose another player to come in because when you press X to change players... the game almost NEVER gives you the player you want... they always give you some guy whos 15 million miles away from the play to even do anything, and you've got little to no time to pick your player using the L2 button.

Sometimes your players will get stuck in the paint and they can't move, no matter how many plays u call, because their defenders are blocking them not allowing them to move resulting in a 3 second violation.

There will be times where your team mates are being covered despite you being double teamed in the paint, none of your team mates try to get open. Any decision you make results in a bad play... pass it to a covered player resulting in a steal, try to move your pf/c that has the ball which may result in a turnover or 3 second violation, shoot the ball which may turn out in an ugly looking shoot or charging foul. And when your down low like that, sometimes when you pass the idiot will *bleep*in pass it off the backboard turning it over!

how about ea sports putting all time great players like pat ewing back in the game? lets be real ewing doesnt belong on the 80's or 90's team? and also how the heck is the man a 50 greatest player, but not on one of the all time great teams?

another thing they need to add and seriously consider is the bounce pass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on passt Live games on Nintendo it was possible to do diffreent passes n stuff, but in this game they just forgot about it!!!!!

It'd be nice when you press L2 to pass it to a certain player, the players who aren't on the screen, their buttons will show up on the side of the screen anyways because sometimes when I pass it to a one player of the two who aren't on the screen because the rest aren't open I often pass it to the wrong one and it ends up getting stolen.

when i pass it in to my BIG MAN they always DOUBLE TEAM him and i cant figger out which player iCon to use to find the open man!!!!!

In the next NBA Live I want to see more in the off season especially the draft.
