You need to make sure all the motives are high, if they're not in a good mood, they won't be happy to get married. The relationship between the two needs to be at 100, and you need to make sure, if you had any other lovers in the past, that they'renot around when you propose, that could be bad. And not just your motives need to be high, but the motives of the one you're asking as well.

but does the propose thingy just come up like brag and talk

It should come up as an option. I think it's just propose.

This i how u get married

First invite t ur lova over and cook a meal for them. You must eat with them and socialize, next wait for ur future wife 2 go 2 the toilet(note: you may also need 2 go as well but just hang in there)watch TV while they are defocating. Then ask them 2 watch TV wit u, the propse option should be there, just scroll down 2 find it,( Hey i also find a nifty trick on how 2 get all the money in there home, you must make them the only sim living in the house and make there house really expensive so you can get more money... it does work) My suggestion is to always get married at Casa Caliente cause that's where you get married.
