Went through the dungeon and got to the pedestal and the sword wasn't there.Am i missing something?Time maybe?

Uh, he has a valid point...I just got the game recently and I cannot find the damn sword either, and if there is one thing i hate it is wasting my time. I've visited multiple FAQ's, even tried typing this problem into a search engine. Why do people keep saying "go to a walkthrough" when people have? Geez. Were there like several versions that had this defect and lucky old me just happend to waste my money on one of them or something? Seriously I wonder, since searches even yield no references to this little problem (that's how I came to this forum: I am a gamer, a skilled one in fact, but not THAT much of a gamer!).

I don't remember which dungeon everyone is talking about since I haven't played the game for ages. Try refreshing my memory by telling me in which part of the game this takes place. Is this the dungeon where you have to save Bagoth? If its the dungeon where you save Bagoth's life, it isn't really hard to find the items, I believe its a fire sword. You first got to fight the fire creatures, after beating them, go to the oven and just press the X/O button and you'll get the sword. I'm not 100% sure of this since I haven't played the game for easily 5 years but I still remember of most of the story lines and dungeon completion.
