I'm freaking out and I need to know if this is a problem with my game or my PS2(I'm hoping neither, but oh well...)
I just beat Chapter 3 of Seperate Ways, and was uberly excited to go to chapter 4. Well, when the chapter four screen comes up--the white, misty background with "CHAPTER 4" in omnious black letters--I push X to continue, the loading screen comes up, and then it just goes black. BOO! I wait and wait, and nothing ever happens. My disc is in perfect shape, and I've taken extremely good care of my PS2 my two years of owning it. I never play too long, so it doesn't get too hot, plus I try not to watch too many dvds on it even though my dvd player is broken. I keep it high up where little hands won't reach, and I keep it covered so it doesn't get cat hair and dust in it and I'm FREAKING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! try it again since you take good care ofyours its probaly a little setback it happen to me too and my disc was clean

Give it another go, if it doesn't work, then you don't look after the disk as much as you thought.
