Generally this comes down to speed vs power, and normally red9 vs Blacktail, though there are supporters of the other two out there personally i prefer the RED9, the power of it with exclusive is great and with the stock it can be used from close to long range, good for conserving rifle ammo for the long, to Xlong range shots and pistol it conserves pistol ammo because og its high fire power.

yep the extra stabilisation thing makes it way better than the blacktail also red9 is much stronger and accurate and that way u save a lot of ammo

honestly in my opinion it depends on the shotgun you chooseadn how u use it.

*striker with the wide shot stuns a bunch of guys, then the red9 picks off individuals.

*striker with blacktail so you can kill the stunned guys faster

*riot gun with red9 so you can effect them from further range, then pop them with the red9

*riot gun with blacktail to keep them in one group, tyhen blast them all with riot gun


all are ok, it just depends on the tactic you use in the game

Shotgun's don't really fit in with this debate.

I prefer the Handgun over the Red9 because the Red9 has a small clip.
I prefer the Handgun over the Blacktail because the Handgun is free.

In general, the Blacktail is best. The Handgun is VERY handy on the island. The Red9 is only cool with the stock. As for the Punisher, I find it totally useless except for use on shielded enemies.

Yeah the punisher is good against shielded enemies but then the RED9 is powerful enough to break the shield and the kill them and the black tail shoots fast enough to break through the shielf and then kill them.

I always liked the red 9, because if you are going to get a fast weapon then get a tmp.

Punisher > Blacktail > Matilda > Handgun > Red9

The punisher has a cool ability, and while it isn't used much, the gun sounds and looks cool. Plus it doesn't take up more space than needed (cough Red9 cough), and it's nice and weak so it leaves you all the fun
Plus you get the punisher for only 10 handgun bullets (which you sell with the handgun anyway).
Matilda is fun too, i don't see why people hate it so much, so what if it wastes ammo? Just tap the X button to only hit one shot (i think).

I actually hate the sound of the Punisher. It sounds more like a cheap CO2 pistol rather than a centerfire handgun.

i also say red9 becasue like others i prefer power way over speed

Mine would be:

-Red 9, for power.

-handgun, for headshots.

-blacktail, its speed.

-punisher, its a bad vershon of the handgun.

-Matilda, its a waste of space and ammo.
