Verdugo is the "Right hand man." To freeze him, knock over a container in the area.

LOL!! I always wonder where all these names come from. They never once get said in the game so where are they coming from?

Some random guy on the internet who made it up and people took it for real. The names just stuck.

I remember when I first came to this board I had no freaking clue who U3 was. I have always known him as "It". Same thing with the things in the sewers. Called "nostidors" or something like that. I always known them as "insects".

The the insect is called novistadors they are in luis research which you will find in the game...

U3s name threw me off when i first heard it, because hes called just IT in the game.

were did re4 come up with these bosses, i mean del lago, and U3? i mean wered they come from they dont resemble anything like a las plagas, there just really f up bio weapons creatures IMO, what they just had them in storage just waiting for leon? or any opposer.

were the 2 verdudgos come from?

They are all mutated forms of Las Plagas as far as I know, results of Saddler's sick experiementations I guess.

I would think human potential must be a factor too. That's why most of the Las Plagas carriers are weak ganados that you can easily fight off. The strong ones become chainsaw-wielding maniacs, El Giantes, and eventually Verdugos. When Saddler confronted Leon on the island, he said he was so impressed with Leon's abilities that once the parasite hatches, he would make Leon his personal guard. Imagine how *bleep*ed up Leon would turn out to be if he didn't get the thing out in time.

As you can see, Verdugo seems to be a fusion between a run-of-the-mill Hybrid from Resistance & an un-armored Elite from Halo 2.

As an advice, his skin works as an armor, meaning that freezing him with the Nitrogen tank & then unloading on him with a powerful gun (Broken Butterfly comes to mind) is the only way of defeating him.
