Has anyone beat the authentic mode yet? I have beat sergeant major and am now trying to beat authentic.It is hard. There are no sitrep's at all. I have made it to chapter 4 so far.
Also for those intersted, it seems to be about as hard as the sergeant major difficulty but you dont know your ammo level, you don't know what level of cover you have and you don't get icons above the enemy. Other than those things it seems about the same as far as number of enemies etc. | |

Yes, you only get to save at the end of a chapter.

No there are CASEVAC's; you just don't see the red circle on the ground. You would have to move the movement cursor around the medic.

No CASEVACs? That's simple!
 - Taking Cover Behind Sofa - Firing at Sofa - Gets shot - Grabs - Looks for CASEVAC - Doesn't find one - Kills and carries and completes level!----- Just walk around and complete level whilst carrying your wounded! ! Works for me! But if more than one dies, you're in trouble aren't ye?-------------------  | |

I beat it on Ten Hammers for the PS2, and it was *bleep*ng insane there and no save check points and on the last level you have no replacement troops.
