What's your power supply and CPU? Some possibility of the stuttering could be not enough power or a slow CPU...

The problem isnt the ram speed as it runs smooth on my bro's comp with ddr400 unless you've got faulty ram. An easy way to test if your ram is messed up is either to run memtest or download a file and see if you get any incomplete or corrupt files.
The video card is unlikely as it doesnt ease up after aa and hdr are taken off. Processor is hardly ever the problem as it's pretty clear when it is the problem. It's plenty fast too. What power supply do you have? Is the game up to date? Have all of the patches? ------------------- Classic Gamer's Society Current Game - Lufia II Rise of the Sinistrals | |

It was the ram actually motherboard auto set the voltage to 1.5 when the ram wants 1.9
and i have a 700w PSU But oblivion is still being to lagy (nowhere near as much as before though) for what I have but read on oblivion's page there blaming ATI "ATI Crossfire Performance on systems using ATI Crossfire will be reduced until ATI releases an updated driver with Oblivion listed as a Crossfire Compatible game." And gonna update the game when i get back on my desktop Brother took it over dam dragon age (which runs very good at max settings other than when i have CCC trying to force 16xAA and 16xAF) And updated to latest patch and ding samething... I even turned all settings down to there lowest and no real improvement Any idea what my problem could be?
