Odds are I don't even need to make this post; if the forum is this dead it means that people are already avoiding this game to begin with. Never the less, I offer my warning. Don't buy it... don't even rent it. This has to be one of the most pathetic, insubstantial racing games I've ever heard of. Every aspect of the game is sub par and there are dozens of better racing games on the market. If you want simulation, stick to Gran Turismo. If you're looking for more of an arcade experience, try Need for Speed Underground or Midnight Club II. Don't waste your time with this game.

Right but the point of the game was to be a middle ground, I take it you took off the braking assist which many other sites and bashers failed to do right? God that has to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard of "oh the car steering is stupid but I never took off braking assist" it was an experiment, Namco never preached it to revolutionize the way racers would be played, it was just a title, a revolution for them to try something new. Yesh. It sounds like you want to set fire to them and beat them with stones while they roll on the ground. Here's a tip though, rent before you buy, it's simple and it saves you from buying a game you might not like.

People have different tastes, while you may think the game blows others may find it enough to satisfy their time when they get bored of NFS:U especially in online mode when they face users using cracked saves with all of TJ's mods unlocked.

I thought this was a fun game even though the story was short.

I own this game and I like it very much, I think its awesome.

This game receieves the biggest split reviews ever. You've got some sites, people, magazines giving it low scores, telling you avoid it, comparing it to GT4, then youve got others who say its great. I like this game because I'm not into the GT series, it's so full on and serious, I like this game because its simple, theres alot of fun and there's an actual storyline to the game which i like. So let me put it for you this way:

If you're married to Gran Turismo 3 & 4, love games like them, and all your after is everything cars, nothing more. avoid this game.

If you're not into the heavy and serious aspect of the GT series, and want an arcade type racing experience that is alot lighter than GT, with a good storyline, give this game a go

..... oh yeah, and there's the bucket loads of clevage.. but let's not go there

The game is obviously not for serious racers. My little cousins got a good kick out of it specially when the steering and break assists were on. That's why I bought it. My girl freind who hates playing games got into it. It can be a lot of fun if you just want a game that your 10 year old cousin and your 65 year old grand pa can play together.
This game was originally ment for Japan only and it was quiet popular there since the gamer's taste are much more diverse and they are less likely to judge things as harsh as we do here.
To conclude, Racing Evolution is not a hardcore super high tech game, rather a family racing game.
And oh yes, I did enjoy the cleavages!
