how do you get vallery ghost house secret exit?

Here's what you do. Go through the level normally until you're in that room where you start at a platform with large gaps on either side. You need to hit the P switch and carefully run and jump to the right as fast as you can. Be careful to avoid the little ghost guy that flies at you. I think there might be a star somewhere if you have a lot of trouble dodging enemies, but if you decide to use the star, make sure to get it before pressing the P switch.

So anyway, you have to get through (almost) ALL of the coins in the little hallway before the P switch runs out. You want to go through the farthest door on the right.

In this room, grab the P switch and go to the right. Jump up through the platform while still holding the switch. Now, walk up near the question mark block and set the P switch down to your left.

You want to build a staircase of coins going up and to the right, coming out of the question mark block. So when you hit the question mark block, first press right, wait about a third of a second, press up, wait another third of a second, press right again, and basically repeat this process until the coins run into something up there and stop. Make sure not to grab any of these coins.

Optionally, you can make sure Mario is in his small form right now by getting hurt by the ghosts right here. This will make the next part a little easier.

Finally, you press the P switch you set down earlier and the coin staircase will become a block staircase and you can run up there. You will find a really small opening up there; if you are not small Mario, you need to jump while ducking in order to fit. Through that little gap there is a key and keyhole. That's it.

PS: I just checked. You can't get the star before pressing the P switch in the room with the hall of coins, so just forget about the star and be very careful to dodge enemies.
