What was your overall opinion when comparing Super Mario World and Super Mario World 2 (Yoshi's Island)? Did you think that Super Mario World 2 was better due to it's revolutionized gameplay? Or did you enjoy Super Mario World more? Discuss and debate the topic here.

Super Mario World was the best That game lasted me about 4 years. That was probably the best adventure game ever made.

I prefered Super Mario World 1 much more and I will give my reasons for it:

It was much longer, exciting and much more harder than the second one. It seemed to me that the second one was pretty easy and it just didnt have that same spark as the first one. Also the first i played it more often, as for the second one i did not play it as much.

I would definately say Super Mario 1 for two main reasons.
I have decided to put it in outline form. LoL.

B. Nothing can ever beat the original, unless we are

C. I don't like sequels, unless we are talking about the
Smackdown games

II. Ownage
A. I sorta don't have Super Mario 2 but that's because

i dont know about everyone else but personally i hated super mario world 2, it was sooo boring...the first one was a lot better with the walking around and 96 levels.

How many levels did Super Mario 2 have?

Yoshi's island had a more unique gameplay which made it different from all other platformers. It was an awesome platformer, probably one of the best 2D platformers ever.

I liked the first game too. I finished it 100%. And i got PERFECT and all 6 stars on Yoshi's Island. Im so great

Super Mario World in my opinion was way better the Super Mario world 2, I found Super Mario World more enjoyable to play.

The original is the best.

Oops. Just to correct myself, I guess I have the 1st game, and have not played the 2nd one. I was confused for a bit there. I don't remember playing a game for SNES as just Yoshi. I have played as Mario woth Yoshi, and as baby Mario and Yoshi though.
