So... I can guarantee you haven't seen this one before:

I actually rode one of those football players, as if it were yoshi. I did it with the original cartridge, Super Mario World... no emulator or anything. I was on Forest of Illusion Three, and after I went down the tube right before the exit (yoshi-less) I came out riding A football player... i was wearing a cape. And it was incredible.

Awesome glitch; Yoshi's character model must have been switched with the football player's model. I bet that looked *bleep*ing awesome.

I tried it out, but I can't seem to get it to work. Perhaps someone else can confirm this glitch?

wtf I think this is bullshit. You can't even go into the tube right before the exit. and nothing happens when you go into the one you actually can. Give me some proof

Hmm...I honestly don't know what to think about this one. If it's true, that would be pretty cool, but I've never seen anything like this before.

Actually, this exact glitch happened to me... well, quite a while ago now. I was playing with my cousin, but other than him, this is the first time I'm ever seeing a reference to someone else seeing this, so THANK YOU. We apparently weren't crazy and hallucinating from too many hours of gaming

You said you were Yoshi-less, but I was on Yoshi, in the Forest of Illusion level with all the bombs in bubbles, I forget which one that is. I was playing kind of recklessly, and I accidentally fell into a hole, but paused right before I did. I hadn't beaten the level though, so I had to unpause, and died before I could jump off. When it showed the map again, there was a weird distortion behind Mario, like a mirage or something, and it moved with Mario to other levels. The next level I went into, I was riding the exact same football player/creature. Turns out he acted like a yellow Yoshi, with sand clouds no matter what was in his mouth.

I've never been able to reproduce the glitch. I also never took any picture of it, so I've never been able to describe it, but you did, so well done.

It was many years ago though and I didn't notice anything wrong and he kept pointing out what mario was riding... I was like yeah so what XDD

It's true, I've never done it, but I've seen Youtube videos of it a while ago.
