re: Remember Sae ? |

I personally like Reika or Kirye, but Sae is still one of the best characters on PZ. Have you ever noticed how every main antagonist had a terrible experience before dying? Maybe that's why I can say I kinda feel fond of them.

Still, what creeps me out from time to time is her hysterical laugher, you know the one, when she actually enjoys her revenge.

Woman in dark... If the memory doesn't fail to me, she usually appears along men in dark on advanced chapters. There is also a mission where you have to fight 6 people in dark, three of them being women in dark. I'm not losing my memory if the mission takes place on the Kurosawa house.

re: Remember Sae ? |

Remember that all ghosts on the game appear at random (except forced fights such as the Mourners at the Kurosawa House or Ryokan at the same house); I cannot tell you exactly when or where you will fight her. I do recall Women in Dark appear in further chapters (chapter 5 on). There are almost identical to Men in Dark, except for the Kimono, watch out for it. The most accurate answer is to keep searching for her, sorry
About beating her on missions: It sounds weird that you cannot get her entry on mission mode. That's how I got the Fatal Frame shot of Ryokan; maybe it's either you were taking pictures of Men in Dark (as I've said before, they are really alike) or it's a glitch in the game. ------------------- ![]()

Uh, no; if I remember well, the Kusabi Rope Man wasn't her partner; in fact, they were totally unrelated. Although the Rope Man emerged from the same Repentance as Sae, they not only died at a different time, but they never appear as "partners". You can say there are 2 antagonists on Fatal Frame II; the Kusabi on one side, and Sae at the other.
In addition, Kirie from Fatal Frame didn't have any partner (taking in account "partner" means another main antagonist), nor did have Reika from Fatal Frame III. ------------------- ![]()

Yes, Kirie's "hand thing" is the Malice that possessed her; it is part of Kirie, not a "partner" ghost.
Reika's strory is similar, the "skull ghost" was part of the Rift that manisfestated through Reika's eyes; another time, it was part of her possessed form. As for Sae, she's only got her blood aura, there's not ghost-like entity, though her blood aura serves the same as Kirie's Malice or Reika's Rift manifestation; it's there as part of the ghost's possession by the Hellish Abyss. ------------------- ![]()

re: Remember Sae ? |

Not quite Ms. Sae, Mr. Lucca; indeed Fatal Frame III has got two endings, which differ the flow of the game slightly. As Zero 4 does not clarify which of the ending is canon, the fates of some characters remain shrouded in mystery.
Ending spoilers for those who hadn't beat the games: "Rift Ending": In this ending, the player has not done the "Echo Earring" side quest, or it is a first play through. After hour XII, Kei is killed by Reika through Impaling, and he finally subdues to the Rift. Photograph Ending: In this ending, the player has obtained Kaname's earring from Rei's attic, and Kyouka's Earring, which is locked inside a mirror stand accessible only to Kei. However, nice endings are never the canon ones so I guess if Project Zero does a game to clarify the endings, it would choose the first one as canon ------------------- ![]()

Mio is indeed 4 years younger than Miku, and Miku is 19 by the time of Fatal Frame III, which happens one month after the events of Fatal Frame II take place, so one can infer that Mio is either 15 or 16, depending on her birthday.

In FF, the Camera Obscura broke on Miku because it bore a piece of the Holy Mirror, which reacted to Kirie's presence, and thus liberating it from the circuitry and allowing Miku to reunite the 5 pieces of the mirror.
FFII's Camera didn't have anything that reacted to the Rope Men, nor Miss Kurosawa, so it wouldn't break unless it was exposed to an incredibly high spiritual presence, which both ghosts seemingly don't have. FFIII's Camera was on a dream, it would work as long as the characters wanted it to work. The real camera was broken, but that is not the one used in the dreams. Indeed, there are 5 cameras in total in the game: --Rei's Camera: Found when a child hands it to her. It charges the most but bears less spirit orbs. --Kei's Camera: It is Akito's camera held by Kyouka. It is the weakest, but charges faster and bears more spirit orbs. --Miku's Camera: It is presumably the same as in Fatal Frame; it can double charge, and it is the strongest of the three, but it cannot use upgraded lenses. --Real Camera: Handed to Rei by Kei. It is broken and does not work. --Professional Camera: Camera owned by Rei. It is used on the house for photographing vanishing spirits. It has no exorcising power. ------------------- ![]()

re: Remember Sae ? |
quote sae fanIf I remember well, there are 2 cameras and a flashlight, one used by Misaki Asou, one used by Ruka Minasuki and Madoka Tsukimori and the flashlight used by Choushiru Hirishima. All three are treated as Camera Obscura (except the flashlight, but works in a similar fahsion). By the way, it was said on FFIV forum that chances are that Fatal Frame IV will not make it to other countries, and that if it does, it will not be named Fatal Frame, nor Zero or Project Zero ------------------- ![]()
