Hey do you guys know what's their religion? If they got a chapel in 600 AD than they must be worshiping an Icon of some sort...
At first I thought that they might be Christian because of the terms "BC" and "AD" But maybe these were just used in order not to confuse the player by having weird exotic terms instead.

They worship Sephiroth... err, Magus. j/k
(Don't know why I confused all mighty Magus with Sephiroth?) I usually go to church so didn't see it odd at first glance. never thought on what religion they might believe in. Also, the Naga's were clearly dressed up as nuns and not just that there, in the Forest chapel they were dressed as nuns. The forest chapel appears later on the game. -------------------

It's never really explained what exactly the humans worship.
The Reptites worshipped the red star, did they not, until they realised that it was Lavos - or was that the humans of the pre-historic era? The mosters of the present worshop Magus as they have elevated him to that status due to his position in the war against Guardia in 600 AD. Hence why there are statues of him, and the monsters mention him in the cathedral. -------------------
