Hi, today I was seeing the change or remove window and I found this program called "Outerinfo". It its quite large (350 MB) so I would like to remove it. But at the same time I don't want to delete it because it may be part of another program that I need . So any help, advice on what to do and what "outerinfo" IS, will be much appreciated.

350 MB MALWARE!! now thats new to me. however, for something that large, im surprised its not doing more damage. unless of course the malware is hiding on a program, or has large useless files for the sake of just taking up space.

How do I exactly do I do a system scan and save a log file?

if you mean with HJT, then it should be one of the first two or three buttons when you open up the program. upload it via the HJT uploader. the link is provided in the HJT log thread

There's some removal instructions here from the creators, should be credible but who knows. Probably best to remove it that way, then check it is actually gone.
