Been running the RC on my PC (lol) for about three or four months now and had no problems with it. Better than Vista in every way and wouldn't go back to XP. Hopefully the price will come down a bit before the RC expires.

Yup I heard about that as well. I don't use my PC for extended periods of time anyway so won't be too much of a big deal.

On Hp's site it says
New = order placed, but proof of purchase not yet received. POP Received = Arvato has received your proof of purchase, but not yet validated it. Yeah SO I guess im not really sure when my order is coming it They still havent looked at my Proof of purchase ------------------- | |

Waiting on my copy of Windows 7 to get here, from using it on my dad's computer (he has the beta version) it seems pretty good though. A step up from XP, and a HUGE step up from Vista. Windows 2000 is almost better than Vista though tbfh.
...and Linkin Park Fan if you expected good service, HP is the wrong place to get it. Lol. ------------------- | |

Already miffed that I bought Vista Ultimate a while back when I built this computer, won't be getting Windows 7 for a loooong time.
I tried it out back when it was RC, and I really didn't see enough differences to warrant buying it. Looks nice, feels nice, but not nice enough for me to waste more money on Microsoft. ------------------- Knowledge is power. | |
