It turns out to be very simple.
I found this advice in another forum, followed it, and it worked just fine: Name the AVI file and the SRT file with the same name. For example, if your movie is ArtofWar.avi. Name the SRT file ArtofWar.srt. When you click on the AVI file to play it--either with the Windows Media Player or the older "classic" media player, it will automatically play the subtitles with the movie. | |
