Hmm, have you tried another method of playing online, like Gamespy or Xfire? I can't really help because I have also had problems with the in-game server browser, so I don't use them. I just use Gamespy.

If you want a great nice bargin Grapichs Card go, for a ATI 9800 Radeon Pro. They are so cheap now.

and also would i be able to run the game with DirectX8.9?

Yes, but you wont be pleased with the graphics and frame rates, unless you have a very fast pc.

Nevermind actually, suddenly it started working earlier. I loaded the game and played single player for a bit, then switched to play multiplayer and it loaded, so yeah. It's been working since, so hopefully it's fixed itself.

Hey I just got this game and whenever I try to open it, an error message pops up saying that BFV has enountered a problem and needs to close. I can't figure out what is wrong and need help, thanks.

You will need to buy a proper video card. Currently you only have the onboard one. (Built into the mother board)

Check out the ATI and nVidia cards at your local computer store.

I installed the game successfully and click the game icon and went for an instant battle after the green bar finished which shows that it is loading it's crashed to the desktop. I searched for the problem and they recommend update patch 1.02 and updated and again the same problem. Do you know why???
What can I do
And by the way I updated all my drivers and directx too...

64 mb video card, kinda low but shouldnt crash the game. Lets see, you got XP thats good, P4 is good, 448 or ram is good, and 50gb of hard drive space is good.

Now....whats your CPU speed? thats the only spec were missing and could cause the problem
