Ok use this chat to come in here and just ask aything concerning Vietnam you might have an opinion or question on. Feel free to also use this thread as an place of off topic discussions that don't nessesarily relate to the game, your day, tv, movies, whatever. Are own Loungin', but please try not to go too crazy though or I'll start having to delete these threads like in the San Andreas forum.

To start things off, we need a forum header. Anybody with banner making skills, post up your Battlefield Vietnam banner and we'll see which the members like the best.

I can make a banner but I'm not very good at fidning good pics. I could take some on my own but an idea of what a banner should look like would be nice.

Anything from Battlefield Vietnam would be nice, like some shots of in-game action. You could get some screenshots from Gamespot, or even take some of your own. Another idea would be mixing in some real life photos takin durring the war, like so;



Then ofcourse the Battlefield Vietnam logo. If possiable, try to keep it near the Neoseeker banner size limits. 500x150 should be the largest.

ok, im going to see if i can find a server that allows you to move the camara freely so i can take better pics. Its hard to get good pics with that gun in the way.

A good screenshot taking method is to create your own game (LAN if you don't want people joining) and set all settings at highest. Then just fly around with the camera and take pics of whatever you want.

yeah maybe, but i want some action too. Maybe i will use some bots, thanks for the advice

It's better to put some action into the banner, not just setting. You should all create a server room just to pose. One person will be taking the shot while everyone is either in a tank others in helis, others paratrooping.

i like that idea, if some one wants to find a empty server or make a coustom game we can post for a pic.

I have seen clans do it, in the clan picks theres the leader in the middle (aka bizzybone) and on the left and right of him are two guys stand up and on the lef and right of those guys are 2 more men crouthed down. then i guess we could have one in prone in front

It would be a great idea to get such an action pic. All-In-One would be the best.
I'm sure somebody can capture a lucky shot like that.

Yea I'm still having it going on. This isn't a contest, no deadline or anything. Just people post your own banner and we'll all discuss which one we all like the best. Maybe every once in awhile I will rotate between banners.
