Is there any easy way to beat either of theses. Because I'm stuck in a cruel cycle. I can't keep the sand wyverns above ground long enough to do a good amount of damage, plus I can't seem to have the right amount of sonic bombs to keep fighting. So I tried going back and killing the velocidrome for screechers and thous more sonic bombs. But it was a blessing I beat him the first time. Here in stands my problem. So can some one please tell me how I can get past this point with out losing my mind? Oh and if it helps I have a Bone lance plus the bone chest and greaves.

Use a greatsword, and whack their back when they swim past.

Use the hammer or great sword to knock the sand wyvrens out of the sand instead of screamers. It may be abit difficult to get a hold of at first but it'll help with timing which will in turn help with the rest of the game.
And the velocidrome, attack from the side so it can't really react and make sure to not stay in the same place for too long because the velociprey will gather around you and that gets annoying.

Go kill Velociprey, make Velociprey armor, and use the Bone Husks to make a Bone Spike. Bone Kris > Bone Kris+ > Bonepick > Bonepick+ > Bonespike. That should take down the Velocidrome in three minutes flat. It's 180+ attack with Green Sharpness.

That'll get you money and Screamers for tons of Sonic Bombs, if you want to use them, or if you're good enough you can knock the Cephalos out of the sand with your weapon. I've done Liver of Legend with a completely dull Bone Blade without problems. You just have to follow them around the desert and wait until they stop. If they detect you, they'll pop out of the sand to shoot sand. When they jump out, start slicing them, even when they go underground, because their fin pops back out and that can be hit as well.

One thing to keep in mind about the Cephalos is that they stop every three corners around the desert. The corners start in front of the camp and circle around, one on the east tip, the south tip, and the west tip. So, for example, if a Cephalos stopped first in front of the camp, it would stop again on the west side, and then stop on the south, and then the east. So you don't necessarily have to follow them, just know where they're going to stop and wait there.

Usually when hunting Cephalos, I use a Great Sword. Watch the pattern they swim with, and time it accordingly so that you can smack their fin with your running downward swing. If your hit lands, you'll knock them way up in the air and they will be defenseless to your attacks for a minute. When they stand, watch out; they might start spinning around, and we all know how those tails feel.

Of course like Tanc says, if you can afford the Sonic Booms, by all means bring them. When you throw, aim slightly in front of the eyes.

Thanks guys now I have no problems with facing the velocidrome, still working on getting the armor. As for the Sand Wyverns(keep for getting what their name is) I got a vile serpent blade.
