I was thinking of getting MH, but I don't have a Network Adapter(though I do have the capabilities to get one...I just never really needed one). Is it still worth buying if I can only play offline? Like, how is gameplay different and stuff?

re: Online/Offline

It's $20 at my local EB Games. I wanted to get it last time I got a game, but IGN said it sucks offline so I picked up something else instead. Basically is it worth owning if I can only play offline?

re: Online/Offline

Well here's MY opinion. Offline sucks until you unlock some of the bigger wyverns. I'd definately say that if you can you should buy an adaptor because online IS like ten times more fun than offline. Oh and by the way, incase you didn't know, you need broad band to play online so yeah. But anyways to answer your question, yes owning it is worth $20, even if you play offline only, but you gotta get an adaptor sometime and go online cuz its great.

re: Online/Offline

do this:

1: buy the game

2: test the game offline(start sux until 5 star questes)

3 consider it if it is worth 20 to buy online or not.

re: Online/Offline

I'm sure I'll get an adapter at some point this year, I'm just saying...for a while I'll be offline. Okay then, I'll pick this up sometime.

re: Online/Offline

I just got the game today, but I can't play it online. What is that? I couldn't find a network adapter anywhere. Best Buy isn't selling them anymore, and I checked few GameStop and EBgames and they don't have any left. I going to check tomorrow if Rhino still sell them.

Damn. You could try Future Shop, or your local Pawn'. Well, once you get that, there's still a matter of an ethernet cable, which I'm sure is included, and a router. A good one.

re: Online/Offline

I'm not worry about the ethernet cable or the router since I have both. The only thing I need is that stupid network adapter. But I thing one of my friends have the slim PS2 and he going to let me use it for at least two weeks. So I have only two weeks to play this game online so I hope there is a lot of people playing this game.
