what is the fastest way to get machalite ore offline, i've beaten everything offline except for the powderstone, gravios, and diablos quests and love making new weapons, im trying to make an eager cleaver and need a lot of machalite

If you don't mind blowing a bit of cash, I'd say do any quest in the volcano, mine, then suicide. Pick a quest with a low price to pay so you'll lose little money.

Either that or keep killing basa and grav so you get machalite in rewards.

There's also an item that you can trade with the Swamp Elder and he'll give you a Machalite Ore. I can't remember what it is though...

ya i found out i can trade med. monster bones, but it takes a lot longer to get the bones, then only b able to trade 3 of them

the way i got my stacks of machalite was just basarios quest. i just mined every machalite spot and killed basarios, carved some machalite from him every now and then(tail included) and i get some machalite from rewards. got at least 5-10 everytime

if u go www.gamefaqs.com it has a faq which tells u wat 2 trade for what in which zone, thats how i got 21 plesioth scales and 9 plesioth fins, med monster bones for macci ore or giant beak for lightcrystals, ect.

yea just keep killing basarios it has a 45%chance of getting machalite and most of the time u get a reward of 3

yup the bas quest is the best for getting mach ores. Just mine what you can and kill bas. you can score up to 10 or more on that quest.

Bas is the easiest way. You can get lots of machalite while carving and in the rewards. You can get iron ore, too.

do 4* desert gathering quest

also 2 get a bit extra on the Bas quest u could go 2 zone 8 i think... u know, wen u r in the volcano, and mine there you are most likly 2 get these there:
1) Earth crystal
2) Macci ore
3) !!!RUSTONE!!!
