OK while racing other opponents, is it like Collin Mcrae,where you race against the clock or is it everybody on the track?

4 people on a track if collisions are on or its 16 players with wireframe cars

I read about the wire frame option and they didn't seem to think to highly of it...how is it?

Hi Raz, Yeah your right it's wire frame and to be honest it does take a bit away from the game.
As for the championship mode, yeah you do race rallies by yourself against time similar to McRae but i would say that part makes up about 70% of the game the other races that make up the champ mode are races against either one other or three other competitors.
Theres a great variation in the rallies ie uphill, crossover, snow & ice tracks and of course your usual rallies.
