As any one seen the new robotech game coming out for Xbox gamecube and ps2. I don't know the release date but form what i seen and read it looks pretty good.

I like this one in particular of a lone mech. I hope that this cel shaded game captures the spirit of the show like the pics make it seem out to do

Well, since Robotech is an animated series, I think the "cartoony" look is cool. It would be pretty silly to attempt to convert it "realism", since that would be inconsistant with the whole Robotech look. I can't wait for this game, I've been a Robotech fan for a long time, so this really will be a cool thing to see.

Dude is Robotech the cartoon series, i dont know how the gameplay is actually going to be but i hope it can stick to the story of the cartoon series.....

I certainly prefer 3d polygon models too but the game is cell shaded to capture the spirit of the animated series. I think that if this game is good, then we should all go out and but it to show our support. Maybe then, the developer will realize desire of the fans and invest more into the series. I for one have waited about 15 years for a Robotech video game and can't wait. I hope that it's a huge success so that we may see more.
