Dude that's way too big. It's portable but how are you gonna carry it around? Unless you have a backpack or something.

I am not a "Computer Person" by any stretch of the imagination, but I do know what I would like, as far as capabilities, speed, and size of any XBOX portable.

1. I would like it to load up as quickly and play as smoothly as my XBOX home unit.

2. I would like to be able to play ALL the same games on it, although I would not mind buying them in a new format.

3. I would prefer the controls to be identical to and have the same "feel" as the home unit controller.

4. It could be even slightly bigger and slightly heavier than the PSP, if that allowed it to meet the functional requirements. I suppose it could be very attractively styled, but it could look like a HeathKit if it worked as I have outlined above.

I do not care if it can play music or movies or act as a radio or any of those other things mentioned in many of the posts on this forum. I realize many of us are searching for the "one do-dad world", where we all have just one device that does literally anything we can dream up for it to do, and fits in a pocket, and comes in 3,419 yummy colors, and is so cute you want to name it and give it a tea party! But to saddle a portable video game with 83 non-game functions is a sure-fire way to have it not perform well AS A VIDEO GAME. All of those other things can be done well by other devices, and until nanotechnology solutions to miniaturization limits are both cheap and ubiquitous, if we actually want to see an XBOX portable worthy of the marquee, we should let Microsoft know that we want a GAMERS' portable, and all the other fluff is fluff.

I would not be concerned about the cost – if it was as good, operationally, as an XBOX home unit, it would be worth as much or more than the home unit, if one's desire actually is to play awesome XBOX games, anywhere, any time.

I didnt say it was practical i just said that there is a "portable" xbox that has been made.
