hello

I am a nosferatu and I want to go see lacroix for the first time( after the warehouse incident). I can't get past the security guard and the door in the sewers is locked. Before I went to lacroix I did all the quests in downtown and when I talked to some of the Anarchs residing in "The Last Round" I told them that lacroix was a dick. Does this perhaps spawn the greatest bug ever?! I also tried to lockpick the door in lacroix's ventrue tower, but I needed a lockpicking skill of 10 in order to do so. Is there a way to get the key to the sewer entrance? PLease help me!!!

Did you say something you shouldn't to the guard? The guard you meet should be the same guy that gave you the key for the Gallery Noir in S. Monica, so he should be remembering you. Maybe you could load a game where you haven't talked to the guard yet and see if there's a dialog option you missed.

There is an elevator behind the guards' desk, I 'm not sure if he has to give you permission to use it...

Also, maybe you need to check into your haven in S. Monica and actually read La Croixs' mail thanking you and get the money from your mailbox downstairs before you can go report to the prince.

Inside Lacroix's tower in the area where you come up via the sewers there are a pair of old rusty elevator doors, these open if approached and take you up to Lacroix's penthouse suite

Right its like this:

go to the sewer there is Ventrue tower access open, it should be (look at the local sewer map on the wall), maybe you should TRY going past the gurd first? I dunno, but it should be open, and from there you can go up with elevetor, NO there is NO bug...this game has lots of them..

I have the same problem except it's occurring after the Elizabeth Dane Quest and I'm Ventrue... Have tried to get round it with "noclip" entered in to the console but Lacroix give me the same speech he gave after decapitating my sire!!

Jeez, this is annoying! I love the game but Ive had enuff of the bugs... I have evry patch know to man, anyone know how to get the guard to talk to me? Cos atm he doesn't know I exist!

FYI, I seduced him to get into the gallery... Quest log is saying quest complete... but could it be lying? Im assuming you would still be able to get passed the gaurd even if you failed the Elizabeth Dane quest?!
