k..i'm new to the forum and *bleep*ed, lol.....but i've read the various cheats that describe how to start the game in "console mode"....the instructions say to basically open the game's shortcut properties and "add -console" to the end of the "command line"......well there is not "command line" i can see in properties...i see target path, and start in...but no command line....can someone pls help me out....and give me a step by step walk through of how to get the console mode going??????? it would be greatly appreciated... thanks

re: console mode

ok....so that's not too teribly comforting... ....who can tell me then, to put the question more simply...how , step by step, do i start the console mode for the game, to be able to use "god mode", etc...????

also....i noticed my post was edited...my apologies, if i offended anyone....but i didn't consider the bleeped word to be inappropriate or offensive, most especially since i was referring to myself...but apparenly someone didn't like so again, my apologies....

any help though would be really appreciated...just wanna be able to use the cheats....thanks....

re: console mode

To enable the console, do this:

On your desktop, right click VMB icon, and select Properties.
When the window opens, look for the box that says TARGET. Place your cursor at the end of the entry, right after the quotation marks.
Now, type this: -console 1
there shoud be a space after the e in console. Click apply, then ok. If it takes the command, no box will appear telling you you can't do this...however if a box does appear, retype the -console 1 with a space after the last quotation marks, but it shouldn't need a space, just type -console 1 then hit apply, then ok. Good luck

re: console mode

hey bud thanks so much for the response....exactly what i'd needed i have one more question maybe you can answer...as far as the different cheats i've read, some say to use "-console" and some say to use "-console 1"....and i forget which i'm using now....does this make a difference at all as to the functionality of the console or any particular code? one thing i've noticed is that the code "freecasting" doesn't work for me with my console, yet it's consistently mentioned in all the cheat pages that it should work....any ideas?

re: console mode

Huh? I haven't seen any "freecasting" code. If you mean unlimited blood, might as well just jack up your blood total. Also, it's just "console", there doesn't seem to be any difference if you add "1".

re: console mode

Okay apparently there is (mebbe I got teh old codes or sumthin), but anyway it does just that, no blood usage. You get the same effect by upping your blood total - think about it, if you can always refill your blood, it's the same as if spells cost no blood.
