Is it my impression, or is this game too easy? All the fights i had untill now were solved too easily.... without weapons! Just use my level 1 presence, level 1 celerity, and level 2 potence... and just charge my enemy i kepp hitting him, without any weapons! and i dont even lose 10% of my life in the end of the battle! So i dont even expend points in atributes/skills to improve my battle capacities! And i dont even use my 38 or basebal bat!
I currently had this battles: with guards at the hospital, with that prhotesis sabbat maniac, with the oriental vampire, with that house full of sabats on the pier.... and they were all solved easily that way...

Playing as a Tremere, most of the battles have been pretty easy up to now (just entering chinatown) although I did get killed about three times by the author of the snuff movie (forget his name, 609 house on the hill?). I think the developers spent more time on other RPG elements and not much time on the combat side of things. It's still an excellent game overall - plot, excellent level design, memorable characters, cool dialogue etc

Well up to now, It seems I can´t die, even if I want to! Like I said the ´´clever´´ strategy of using all your disciplines, rusihing the enemy (unarmed) and kepping pressing the left mouse button seems to be unbeatable!

Guess it seems a bit short - although some parts are annoyingly long, especially the Nosferatu sewers. I wouldn't mind more crowded environments like the Leopold Society house, although with a high sneak score I murdered every single hunter (lol) without being seen.

The museum especially feels particularly empty. Well, it IS night time, and maybe there are already enough guards.

Perhaps if the story weren't so linear (clan differences notwithstanding).

Linear Story! Ahh man, I just read that, and I have not completed the game yet.

Yes, believe it or not, I've played through with all the clans. Doesn't change the fact that it's fairly linear, although I do like the game.

Is there any variation when playing as male or female?

Well, as a girl you can personally take care of the graveyard guy's, ahem, affection problem, but other than that most of the stuff is the same. Just the few usual dialogue differences, e.g. Fat Larry calls me babygirl, I dunno what he calls guys.

I'm kidding, he doesn't call us anything. He spend most of his time ranting to even properly address my character.

well, i did notice that with a girl vampire the femals in the game somehow turn to lesbians...
