So, I'm curious as to everyone's favorite aircraft to play with so far. I say "so far" because I'm not done with the game at the moment, but I've got some pretty cool planes to work with in the time being.

For me, I would have to say either the Su-30MKI,F-14D, or YF-17 Cobra.

The SU-30 cause of it's high manuverability, the F-14D, because it's been my favorite since I was five years old, and the YF-17 because it's just cool. That's all, just cool.

So, what about everyone else. And giving a reason for liking the planes might be a good idea too.

When do you get the F-14D? Thats been my favorite since I was four or five too. I had a little metal F-14 that I carried around as a little kid, and I held it so tight I got welts on my hand!

I got the F-14D sometime before the "Night Blitz" mission. You have to play as Ruth to get it. It's pretty good in the game too. It triumphed where my SU-30 didn't.

I like the F-105D with its ASM's.

Yeah, the Su-30MKI does get the job done. It's my favorite too. But I also like the Yak 141 as well as Alex's other VSTOL aircraft.

I find that the VSTOLs with high thrust (like the 141) can make excellent dogfighters. But I wouldn't use it if I'm surrounded with no allies to cover your back.

I love the F-14D, the S-37, the Mig-1.44 MFI, the awsome MX5000, the Blue Thunder, and the Aura Wing.

I think everybody likes the F-14D. I also had a black and red,plastic toy of the F-14D. As I got older I grew into the models so I got a dicast model that I still own and display to this day. Plus the F-14D holds the time record for many of my free missions. Why can't Ken buy one?

S-37 is just plain cool. Nothing more to say.

The Mig- 1.44 MFI is a good looking, fun-to-fly aircraft. Plus it has the, LR-AAM (Long Range Anti Air Missile).

The MX5000 has a cool look and it has awsome stats. I like how it has multi locks.

The Blue Thunder is a far out plane isn't it. With those wierd floating guns that follow it around. Hey I'm not complaining.

The Falsion works well in Wind Valley, aka. the most frustrating level in the world.

I think they under rated the S-37 in AFDStrike. It's no longer the multirole stealth powerhouse that it was in AFD and AFDStorm.

I know the S-37 isn't as good but it still looks cool.
Though I must admit it's controls are a bit sluggish.

I very much agree Konami underestimated it.

Most of the aircraft in AFDS are sluggish, until you get to space, at which time you're shown their real potential.
