I have finally unlocked phase fourteen where 2nd Element and 1st Element have failed to complete their final mission and the debris is plummeting towards Earth. You have to fight Albert who is blinded by vengeance. When you shoot him down Ellen says," Ken! Bug ou-" Her radar breaks up. WHAT HAPPENED ARE THEY... DEAD?

There's a phase fourteen now?!

AUGH! You're further than me! Time to get back on the game again!

LOL. You have to unlock Ellen to play it and you have to play every mission possible with Ken. (I played the first space mission with Ellen, and it did not seem to affect the game's course.

Phew... Well, that was actually a reasonably fun mission. Tough, but fun. Albert's one heck of a pain to beat.

From what I gather, though, Ken survives. You can see his footprints in the sand during the ending movie. But Ellen...? I'm really not sure.

well actually, its Ellen's footprints in the sand. Ken flew out of the space station chunk before he got burnt in the atmosphere. he couldn't have gone through atmosphere because if you saw the chunk, it got pretty burned, and a fighter wouldn't be able to stand up to such a battering.

Ellen most likely survived because she was within the chunk while it fell, protecting her. either that or she flew out after it passed atmosphere, and crashed.

I think Ken flew back to Isis after he escaped.

To wrap it up, i think Ellen and Ken survived it all.
