This isn't ment to be an' attack or flame,i don't want to encourage bumbling GC flamers here,still i was kinda' dissapointed with GC's visuals,MP..,WV,blue storm..,MS..,Resi's..,TH4..*when put next to Xbox version*,it just bothers me,
MP has some very good graphics,BUT,people always say they are some of the best EVER,now to me,when i see MP,next to Halo,wolfentien and Unnreal champ' on Xbox *and SOF2,U2 on PC*,*and i am sure theese games are older,they look a helluva' alot better,yes i know Xbox is a powerhouse,but MP is supposed to be able to hold it's own graphically against any competition.

Well, the Cube has the best graphics I've ever seen on a console I own (I have a Cube and PS2), you've just got to look at The Wind Waker or Rogue Leader or indeed, Metroid Prime.

Of course, when compared to a more powerful cosole, (the X-Box) the graphics don't look quite so good. But they're still a lot better than you get on the PS2.

Well, I didn't particulalry think MP's graphics were extreme, but look at Rogue Leader 3, that looks tight.

I really don't look at lighting in games, but I'd say that Luigi's Mansion had amazing light effects, and the upcoming RS3 does too:

Your crazy. Gcn has better graphics then PS2! And its graphics are almost as good as X-box Here are comparisons, Unreal championship and Turok evolution!

Yes,the resi's looked DAMN' fine,BUT,it wasn't all realtime 3D,not like the X' games i'm mentioning,imagine how good a rendered resi' would look like on Xbox(if it was hardware specififc).,also Xbox turok evo' looks mint,GC and PS2 version URGH,anyway,i don't want to make some sort of argument,just discussion.

Meh, your a X-box junky I see. Well then mister tell me why my friends x-box's stop working after three months! And why my Gcn that is a year old runs like new! Oh, and don't forget X-box's huge controler! Also don't even call me a Gcn fan boy cuz Im not Im a n64 fan boy! Also it is not smart coming into a gcn forum and expecting people to agree the gcn sucks cuz it don't!

This guy obviously likes his X-Box a lot, but you can't really call him a X-Box fan-boy. He's agreed that a lot of the GCs games are great, whereas a fan boy would just be spouting rubbish about how rubbish everything is.

I'm most certainly very happy with the Gamecubes graphics, games like Star Wars: Rogue Leader, Metroid Prime, Smash Brothers Melee, Zelda: Wind Waker and Starfox Adventures are all examples of truely stunning visuals. The Gamecube is at least as good as the PS2 when it comes to looks.

No it beats ps2. And rivals x-box. PS2 has a bad graphics engine, and it runs on 300 MHZ, Gcn runs on 435 MHZ (I think) And x-box on 700 MHZ (thats why the games on x-box are biger and sometimes better)

Serioulsy Though, Each System has its advantages and disadvantages. The GameCube, in my opinion, seems to run smoother and have a better framerate than the Other consoles. While the XBOX has the ability to produce higher res textures and larger environments.. and tahts a Fact. look at the Numbers if you want. PS2 on the other hand, is THE Console for RPG's. Always has been. Always will. (With a few exeptions of course).

Now, the questioni s: Am I dissapointed iwht the GC's graphics? Nope. It puts out superg graphics in my opinion. THough you also must realize taht if its a crap game, there will be crap graphics.
