Hey everyone just thought I would start a thread for all of those game releases and the anticipated games everyone is talking about.

I keep hearing Bomberman in the circles.

Duke Nukem is rumored to be making the transfer to GC.

Godzilla will be making his way to the GC also but it sounds more like a modified Rampage game with SF esque qualities.

James Bond has another installment headed for the GC it's James Bond 007 Nightfire.

Legend of Zelda (tentative name) has been annouced for GC and some have seen the screenshots. What were they thinking? It doesn't look right with Link being too cartoonish. The 64 version wasn't too bad and they could have made it nice.

Mafia is announced for 2nd Quarter. It is a relly cool game if you've played or seen it in action you understand. It has a GTA feel but it lets you think your a mafia member. ( I live in a town of mostly Italians where it's common knowledge that the Mall is owned by them. The damn thing used to be shaped like a gun! Until they added another store.) This is as close to GTA as we are gonna get for the mean time.

For those Mortal Kombat Fans, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance will be coming out. I love the original but it started to change too much for me. 11 original characters are included like Scorpion and Sub-Zero as well as all new characters.

Phantsy Star Online seems to be the talk of the town as well but no one knows what the online fees are gonna be so we will just have to wait.

Rocky is making the move to the cube as well. They are supposed to be real boxers. A training mode as well as championship mode is reprted to exist as well as you can train with what's his face...the coach. You also get to face the characters that Rocky has faced like Do;h Longren and MR. T.

Has anyone played Gaunlet? I used to love that old game back in the arcade. I just wonder now if it is worth buying or even renting. Is it like the arcade 3-d version?

Well Nightmare Creatures 3 is also reported to be coming. The first was pretty good and I am looking forward to seeing what they can do with the game now.

If ya smeeeeeeeeeeeel what the Rock is cookin! The Scorpion King will be making his way to the Cube as well early in the 4th quarter. Around the middle of October..Gee around my birthday how sweet. The Rock will be making the appearance in the game as the voice for the Scorpion King himself. That's what the reports say but you never really know. I guess we have to wait and see what happens.

Gameplay in Blood Omen 2 is uniquely combat-based in terms of both attack and defensive blocking maneuvers. The player will engage in battle with armies of demons and soldiers in incredibly realistic combat maneuvers. Kain has over ten deadly weapons at his disposal for enemy attack, each with its own unique animations and spine-tingling finishing moves.



In addition to the wealth of combat in Blood Omen 2, stealth also plays an important role in Kain’s progression through the game. The more the player utilizes stealth to get through situations, the longer the characters in the world won’t realize Kain is a vampire, making the path to completion somewhat easier. Nothing is straightforward though; there are characters and special devices built into the environment that can detect Kain even when he’s being stealthy.

Jumping into one of 24 licensed high voltage vehicles from famous makes like Audi, BMW, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Lancia, and Ford, players race through three-lap circuits of snow, desert, or jungle landscapes. Sliding through dusty roads, slipping on ice, and shredding through foliage, it's crowded on the open road, as six competing cars try to muscle into prime position, wreaking havoc along the way. Additionally, up to 4 players can compete for top rankings in a multiplayer split-screen mode.


Within each track are "Shox Zones" where players are awarded Bronze, Silver, and Gold placements based on their driving skills. Earn the Gold
in all "Shox Zones" on a single track and a new circuit will be unlocked. Players can also put their own cars up as collateral in races with opponent in Wagering Mode to collect the ultimate off-road vehicle collection.

Skies of Arcadia is going exclusive under the title "Eternal Arcadia Legend" as the ps2 version is scrapped for a superior GCN version. Already planned and released is the news of a new character and plot developements, with possible additional improvements.

[The Nintendo Trans Canada Tour] was visited by our own Entity and Wolfwood, who appearantly cooked up a pretty big review of it. It looked good for Nintendo as many of the games shown at E3 were improved and better than ever.

I know the E-reader itself is old news (though I thought It could only link to the gba, and had to go through one to reach a gcn) but that the cards could hold entire nes games, etc is new to me. I hope to get it, but I frankly don't yet know if it would be worth it without a gba.
