Okay people, I have diced with death on the lava and I am one tool short. I can see it up above but I can't for the life of me get up to it. The platform to jump on is one of those that drops and I can't get up. Am I missing something, like an do-able path up to there? I have been stuck here for about 6 hours so until someone can help this is the end of the game for me.

Well, I have this game on both PS2 and Xbox and I am stuck here on both of them now so if you are able to, please help.

I didn't have any trouble with this at all, so I don't know what you mean (nb: playing on gamecube). There is one on a path up near the gorilla's foundry which I had to go back to- in the first room. Is that the one you mean?

The one I can't get to is where, after you have freed the first gorilla you go in a lift and emerge in a large room. Wallace climbs up on a box and you have to kill a spiky ball. There is a timed race you can do, which involves climbing up on a green tank, jump over to some stairs, jump or swing across a gap and there are approx 4 vertical pipes spurting flames. Just past these is a lift that you use to bring Wallace up. Above these pipes is another tool and it is this one I can't reach. The platform up to it is one of the collapsing type and I can't do it.

Yeah, I couldn't get that one either. You don't need it. There are more tools than you need hanging around- just keep wandering about.

I am desperately trying to remember how it works- currenly trapped in Metal Gear Solid hell on the next level with Gromit inside a cardboard box repeatedly getting shot at. Maybe you do need that one. If you do, I can't remember having a lot of trouble with the time thing. Arghh! I'm sorry, I'm useless. Is there another way up maybe?

Actually you were a big help, at least I knew it was worth going back. I ended up on a platform where you had to shoot porridge at 3 sets of cogs to raise the platform back up, but at least I got another tool. I am also in this section, but hubby managed to get us through. The way we went was like this. Run straight across into the box and then face back the way you came. Come out and run to the switch on the right. After that we dog-legged right and left in one move, then waited. We then shuffled across to the switch opposite. Shuffle back across the way you came and then go left and left again. This took a while because we kept getting caught behind the blue barrel. A last shuffle across to the last switch and then you can get out of the box. A quick run around the back to the barrels and up on the top and over to the drop into the water. We got through the next obstacle course, made the turnip gun and then totally screwed up the octave security device. At this point, turning the xbox off doesn't save the game and lo and behold! Back to the beginning.

Well done you! And thank you for that. I have the theory of Gromit in the box, but the camera angles keep buggering it up for me, plus I have no patience...

The bit with gomit in the box isn't as hard as you think, you don't need the meatabix box at all, wait til the guard isn't looking then run forward behind the barrels, again when he's not looking jump over them onto the blue square. There are three squares to hit but jump onto the barrels again and up onto the top of the shelves then run along them, jumping down when they're not looking to hit the squares. the guards never look up so even if you're on the green barrels when they walk past they won't notice. After that a stone block lifts up and you jump under it. A bit tricky but it can be done...

So, where are the last 3 tools then? I have 7 tools and need one more to get the baby behind the locked door. I just can't find any more anywhere. This game is soooooo frustrating at times!!!!

The best thing i found was to listen out for the tools. They make a sound as you get near them to show you are aproaching them. If you hear one have a look around to try and work out where it is.

The tools in the First level of the warehouse are in the following places

Exit the room you start in from the begining and Go to your left. Theres a little platform going up and down the wall, hop onto that and follow the platforms around the edge of the room.

At the bottom of the stairs take the first room on your left. Move the box and shoot the Gummy machine with the porridge gun. As soon as the timer starts move the box a little way back and flip jump over to the stacked boxes. Collect the tool.

At the bottom of the stairs head straight forwards theres a room right near to the entrance of the guarded area. Grab the tool and then fight the flamer penguins that appear.

The last tool in this area is located in the room with the conveyor belt and the box you push to break the machine under the baby.

Tools in the second level of the warehouse are located.

On a ledge reachable by using the porridge gun to slow down the rotating platforms.

On a high ledge after the room where you get ambushed, and push the platform boxes through the wall. behind the Door that you raise using the porridge gun.

high up at the other at the other end of the room where wallace fixes the control panel to extend the platforms out.

To the right long the wall from the tool above. use the platforms moving up and down te wall to reach this.

the last two tools are nice and easy to find (the washing machine puzzle)
