One day i was bored so i typed in the cheat to spawn a rhino tank. I drove around blowing stuff up and killing cops. Then i put the drive on water cheat to get away from the army folk. When i was on the water i noticed my tank was smokeing....So i wondered....Could i destroy a rhino tank? So i kept hitting stuff and hitting stuff and eventually it went from grey smoke to black smoke. Then it cought on fire and exploded. And i always thought the rhino had like infanite health. Heh i havent been able to destroy one of the rhinos that chase you when you have 6 stars though.....

Anyone else manage to destory a rhino?

Nope, Rhinos are industructable. My guess is that it hand something to do with the drive on water cheat, like it messed up something in the game's memory about the Rhino or something.

WHOA!! guys guys... the Rhino is not at all indestructible... It is just VERY rsistant to damage... so nothings messed up in your game, dont worry.

I destroyed many tanks, just took a lot of effort.

happened to me couple of times but i didnt blow it up by typing a cheat for drive on water. one time i sat for a long time with six stars hitting tanks and crap and finally it blew up.

Okay common misconception. A lot of people think the Rhino is indrestructable but NOT SO!


First off take a Rhino and hit it with a few Molotiv's or with a steady burst of the Flame thrower and it is toast. Also MOST people never drive the Tank long enough to destroy it but I can assure you that if you drive it long enough (and I admit it takes a while) and do lots of damage as you go the tank WILL blow up, I promise you! Its a fact.

my favorite way to kill the rhino is to drive off a bridge and whala begone with you rhino!

The worst thing you can do to the Rhino is roll it or tip it up on one side. Doing that always seems to do some siginficant damage to it. Just about everytime I've rolled the tank(landing back on my wheels of course) it will then have smoke coming out.

And yeah they definately aren't fireproof, but that doesn't really matter because no one in the game will come after you with fire.

I heard somewhere that the Rhino isn't even bulletproof, when you shoot it long enough it will explode. I never tried it but it might be true.

That's not true, the Rhino is BP. Whoever said that must of damaged their Rhino some other way, but not by bullets.

I'm sure someone said that. If I remember it well, he said he shot the tank with a minigun for about 10 minutes and it exploded.

Yeah I know someone has said that too, but its still not true. There have been people who have shot the tank with a Sea Sparrow for hours to increase their accuracy, and the tank never blew up.

i shot through the door killing an army man and one thme i sniped the guy driving through the tiny window you can see them through is that any thing new?

You mean sniping a soldier out of a tank. No it's not new, I've done it before. You can actually shoot them through the door too.
