Whats the most fun part with this game? Big games against huge teams, winning titles, buying awsome players and improving your team?


For me (in the year 2019) I´ll have to say its scouting and getting young talented players and then try to get them to be firstteam contenders in a few years.

Right now I probably invest more time in my U-19 team than I do with my firstteam, and I search clubs and countries constantly for young talents.

Both my U-19 team and reseveteam just beat the CL first runner-ups in a small cup during the WC-qualifications

And I had 49 players away on different nationalsides (U-21 or firstteam), I love this

One thing kinda bugs me though.. U can have Juventus facing your reserves and the game ends (for ex) 1-1, then u schedule a friendly against a crappy conferenceteam against your reserves, and it ends like 2-1, is that really realistic?

+ Everyone in my reserves play alot better when they get they chanse in the firstteam, than they do in the reserves or U-19, there they usually only get 6 or 7:s even if they win the games by a few goals.

Oh well..

Maybe because its so rare, selling a player for big time money gives me the kicks.

That is definetly the best part of the game, but I have a problem with mine. I took charge of a really crappy second div team. First year I got them promoted with ease, which I thought was strange, but was too happy to worry about it. Now in my second season in top flight I was told at the start that Im there only to make up numbers and will get relegated at the end of season. Its March and there are about 15 games left and Im sitting in 3rd position. The thing is Im not restarting my games everytime I loose or used an editor on the team, and definetly not paying attention to the squad I use, didnt change my tactics and dont make much subs, but somehow Im doing very well. Do you think it could be a game fault? I dont feel like I have accomplished much

I love picking up a really cheap unknown and then in a few seasons turning him into a superstar! With the latest CM sorted update as Arsenal, I sold Lauren to Barca and replaced him with the spurs 16yr old right back Ifil for 450k compenstaion . Now at 20 he's been my first choice right back for 4 years, has 16 England caps (I'm the england manger as well ) and is valued at 12.5mil! He's got great stats as well and averaged over 8 in his last season! He's looking good

Ive got this awsome 17-yearold kid with amazing stats who just got back from a broken leg (4 months) but/and I still cant get the coaches to play him in the U-19team, it really pisses me off.

I think the most fun part is when you win (or draw) with your pretty decent team against one of the big-money-spenders

Just playing Championship Manager 03/04

Well i havnt been playing the game long, but i enjoy going at least 5 years with a good team like Man Utd, Chelsea or Arsenal and try to get records like not losing in the Carling Cup for 6 years which i did on Championship Manager 00/01.
