I know this myth is OLD OLD OLD but I was playing GTA last night my niece was there, I had the flying cars cheat in and I was zooming around the map in a turismo that I had just painted pink, When suddenly out in the middle of the wilderness I saw this guy without a shirt, in what looked like suspenders (was going to fast to make most of him out mind you) and I remember his entire head was brown while his body was white, either that or he had a brown fro which doesnt sound like any ped I have ever seen. this was RIGHT near the freeway but it was on a ridge where people couldn't get up unless they had a way to fly. He was running right at my car and the second I saw him i thought "Hell no this is NOT getting away from me" and Jumped out, but the stupid game glitched and even though I was 2 feet off the ground I died while the car flew off the side of the cliff. I was so PISSSSSSED and I've been going back to that area and all I have been able to find are broken trees and a log. Here I marked the location I saw him at.

If this incident ended in a glitch, then how do you know that it wasn't a glitch to begin with?

I don't expect to find anything, but I'm still going to check it out...

Maybe it was a redneck ped that fell of a Motorcycle and it seemed like he was running at your car when he was really running back to his motorcycle?

I've seen peds with Suspenders only before, but I don't know about the brown head, maybe it was due to the lighting.

Okay, first off, Leatherface is a mod. Same as BigFoot and the UFOs. Or in this case, it could just have been a very lucky glitch.

I saw it and you say it's fake? for one thing it's not fake if it happened, although it may not be leather face and may just be a glitch it could mean that this glitch is what other people have seen and reported as a leather face, meaning if I can recreate the glitch then the myth won't be totally false. I really don't care either way I was just trying to share something interesting I saw with the community here, It's nice to know that every time someone finds something little buttholes will come on and start saying all the myths are fake. The suicide photographer turned out be to real, the cave near Las Venturas turned out to be real, kamikaze pilots turned out to be real, but I come on here and say I spotted something that could be leather face or a reference to him and I get a boot in the ass and spit on my face? No wonder nothing gets found in this game. I bet you people haven't found the all weapon spawn location in blue hell yet, I'm surprised you guys even found the giant building with C and K on it. Seriously what the hell? last time I point out anything on here.

Ok so once we get that through everyones head we can scratch out what IS NOT a myth. The suicidal photographer's aren't a myth. Just a glitch. Same with the pilots. The AI system had some bugs there. The cave is just a cleverly hidden place to get a police bribe. Leatherface however is turned out to be a myth. No one has found him. I'm sure thousands of people have searched the game's files and found no such trace of leatherface. I'm not doubting you saw something. But as you said you were flying in a car. They can fly pretty fast. You said yourself you were "zooming". Everything around you would pretty much be a blur. You probably just saw the redneck and thought "Omg leather face" As someone said before, maybe he wrecked his motorcycle or something. No reason to get upset. This game has been out for many many years. If there was a leatherface we would have found him by now. Or at least found the image files.

I'm not doubting it is or isn't leather face, but a ped couldn't of crashed up that high, the location it was at would mean the pedestrian would have to climb up a whole cliff and then crash, which would be an interesting glitch by its self along side the combine harvester that randomly gets out of the farm and drives along the road, always the same path. I wasn't going so fast that everything was a blur, not that close to the ground. Yes I said zooming that may of been an over exaggeration however, how fast DO you have to be going to be classified as zooming? exactly.
And a myth is also an unproved belief, not ALL myths are set in stone to be fake. I'm sure it was a glitch, and I'm not totally sure about this but isn't it possible to hide program files? The problem is the assholes on here either 1. don't read it all
2. think every single thing is exactly what it means, and generally believe metaphors to be literal
3. troll and flame and masturbate. (these are truly the kings amongst men)

I wouldn't be annoyed at all because I have PATIENCE. and listening to some crazy guy babble about Bigfoot is a hell of alot more interested then hearing about that time someone completed a mission under a certain amount of time or about how some noob doesn't know how to do stuff.

I went back to do the glitch again and I couldn't find anything so I just scouted the area with a jetpack, I thought I heard a chainsaw sound but it's actually a background sound the jetpack makes, this may explain why alot of people say they hear chainsaws in the woods since the jetpack is an extremely common use of transportation.
