is there a "certain" vehicle for a jump?

i'm havin troubles jumping tha montgomery intersection. tried all the bikes and even cars in between it. the slow-mo jump off's played but after i land, no uniqie jump notification flashes on the screen. so it made me think if there's any designated vehicle for any of the jumps? are they only valid for one time jumps? lie, after u pulled off that jump, u can't go back and do the jump again, right? like all those bonus and all...

PS... i still can't get that intersection jump.even i pulled it off.

No, there aren't any "certain vehicles for certain jumps", but some vehicles are just too slow.

Try jumping at slightly different angles. One time I had to jump like 20 times off the same ramp to get it right. Sometimes you just fly too far. Every unique jump has an exact landing spot.

Sanchez or the other fast bikes are the best for stunt, and if you are using cheats, you can do the nitro boost cheat for any slow vehicle!

I did it with a Police Rancher, ...right after I destroyed at least 5 of them in failures / crashes.

re: is there a "certain" vehicle for a jump?

UPDATE: i've already jumped that hard one on the acres. i dodged that barn house infront of me and landed on teh right side. i did it with sanchez which is by the way, becoming my favorite ride on the game. now, i'm tryin to pull that montgomery intersection jump. no matter how i landed safely, it still aint counted. if only we had a checklist on tne game menu itself cause sometimes, we didnt noticed that we already jumped that one but we keep on jumping on it again. is there a ny way we'll be able to know that we already jumped that ramped already? so that there'll be no more double jumps to no avail.

1. Go to http://myepsilon.org/content/maps.htm and download the "Unique jumps map";
2. Use "Microsoft Paint" to cross out the ones you've done, but make sure, that you never cross out anything before you save the game.

re: is there a "certain" vehicle for a jump?

If you're going to use the "Paint" program to cross out those jumps that you've already done, then you need to be careful not to cross out the ones, that you did since the last time you saved the game, or otherwise there will be a danger that you might forget about something at some point and eventually every jump will be crossed out and you'll be 2 jumps short of 50 and you wont be able to determine, which ones you've done, because you wont remember.

I learned that lesson with the oysters the hard way.

re: is there a "certain" vehicle for a jump?

maybe that'll happen to me sooner or later. m just usin my offic pc so i have all the guides printed out even the maps and i just check all those i've already done. i'm now in san fiero and there are some spontaneous jumps i did while i'm on a police chase and i dont remember which jump are they on my checklists so i have two or three successful jumps but i dont know what to cross out on my list. and there are jumps that i think i havent jumped yet but when i do, i cant pull it off as a unique. instead, i only get an insane stunt bonus.

btw, my first jump was on blueberry. i passed on the first few jumps early in the game cause i thought it's not that important. i'll come back to 'em later in the game.
jumps are for 100%, right?
