Going back to beat it...

Alright, a noob has a question.

I was reading Gamegrep and I found out about a new KH game for the DS.

I nearly crapped myself, as the DS is my favourite system, and now I could play KH wherever I went.

I only have the first and second one for the PS2, I've beaten the first one, but....

I remembered. I hadn't beat the second one. I realised that if I don't beat the second one, I might be a little confused about the story.

So tomarrow, I'm thinking of starting it up...But my question is, will I be able to remember how to play easily? I haven't played in nearly a year it feels like. Why? I guess it's because I got hooked on another game and forgot to finish it.

I remember fighting a boss in Orginisation XIII, I was in a silver room and blocks were rising out of the ground or something...

I was in the Final World. So how far am I, and are there any things you think I should know that I've probably forgotten?

re: Going back to beat it...

I'd say that if you're in the World that Never Was then you don't have that much farther to go until the end of the game but it's a possibility that you've got a lot more to do in the game itself- like all the things in Jiminy's journal.

As for the being able to play part- I wouldn't worry about it. I didn't play for about a few months (hooked on another game as well) and went back to try and finish all the sidequests. I did decently after being away for so long so the controls will come back to you.

I hope this answers your question.

It should all come back to you. The gameplay of that game is easy to pick up on. Once you are good at it, you are always good at it.

If you're talking about Luxord (As by "blocks" I think you mean "cards"), he's probably the easiest XIII enemy, including the featured Final Mix bosses. All you have to do is attack him like crazy and flip-flap cards until you find him.

If you're finding it too hard, you can always watch the cutscenes and ending since you're so close to beating it. I don't think the KH2 ending would give you much clues, so I'd watch the new cutscenes from Final Mix.

re: Going back to beat it...

The only problem I ever have when going back to it is mixing up the camera controls. It drives me batty!! I'll play the first one and get used to the r1 and l1 buttons, then I switch and I get all mixed up.

P.S. Luxord took forever for me to beat, I guess I'm just not very good at playing. But of course I beat it.

Well, I went back...

It took me a few seconds to get back into the game. I remember the story very clearly, the controls are simple, and it's really fun.

Oh, and I was at the part...

Right before you kill the guy from Organization XIII who has the eyepatch on...I can't remember his name, the one who shot needles. Beat him on my first try

Don't worry about spoiler tags. That rule was ditched a while ago. Oh, and it's Xigbar that you just faced. You have two more Organization members before the finale.
