So the true light still remains within the darkness, that is the door to the light. All worlds that had keyholes were connected to the darkness, they all lead to one place. The quest of KH1 was to protect world that children's imagination created from darkness, KH2's mission relys deeper on finding the true light that lies within the darkness.

The twilight town, is in between darkness and light, it is a city that is immersed always in sunset. That's the stage of years when children are growing up, or teenage years.
