I think there's a gigantic reason why they shouldn't put KHIII soley on PS3: SOME people aren't filthy rich. The PS3 is just way too expensive for the average gamer, if you ask me. Sure, the graphics are great, but I would never pay that much money when PS2 graphics are also very good. And plus, the playability is almost exactly the same as PS2! I personally think that KHIII should come out for PS2 AND PS3, or possibly PS3 and Wii. It's not like the game isn't popular enough to be on two different consoles. Furthermore, if Squeenix does decide to keep Disney involved (which I think they probably will), then the Wii would be an excellent addition to the game; because face it: do younger games normally own a PS3 or a Wii? Exactly, a Wii. And all game companies want to reach the widest audience they can, so the Wii in combination with the PS3 could make all varieties of gamers happy. So... I'm done. What do you guys think?

PS2 disks have more space than PS3 disks. Where did you find this tid bit of information? Besides, ever heard of Lost Odyessy, 4 disks for one game; why cant KH3 do that?

PS3 does have only slightly better graphics than the PS2, but the PS3 as the ability and power to do so much other stuff. The AI in this years PS3 games will be like nothing anyone as ever seen. The PS3 makes the games more realistic in other little ways, but when all those ways are added up, it is a whole new game.

They would be fools to put KH3 on anything but PS3! I very highly doubt SE will get off the Sony wagon with its official numbered games...

No one is going to buy a PS3 soley for KH3. It should be for both PS2 and 3. Or like that person said a few posts ago, PS3 and Wii, so that the whole gaming world can get it because just face it everyone has a Wii instead of the select few who can afford the PS3.

Yeah, they should. Just because something is Inferior doesn't mean they forget about the older system. Everyone is just so hopped up on PS3 they only care that any certain game gets put on it, and if they get what they want, they htink the game hsouldn't be made for anything, but that system, so they would have some kind of special thing with them that allows them to brag about the game, and how good it is al through out knowning that not everyone is rich enough for the freaking PS3. I think the PS3 is crap.

hm... I'm a big curious to something. My friend says that he's passed the game with the journal at 100%, all the routes opened, every item, all missions for the gummi ship and stuff. Also, (might be somewhat spoilers) you know when you pass the game in hard and very hard, you get a mini preview of KH3, well he says that now that he passed all those things the items, routes, etc, another video comes out, a longer version that shows a fite and stuff. is that true? cuz I dont believe him

Yes I belive it is true you should go to youtube and search for Kingdom hearts trailer 3 watch it it's intense.

Ok, I wasn't the one who brought up the Wii in the first place. PLus, can you confirm that it will be ONLY PS3? If you can't, then you can't say that it will only be for it. I would need proof before I believe you.

I've only read the last page or so of this thread so forgive me if I'm missing something, but I don't believe that Kingdom Hearts 3 has even gone into development yet has it?

If that's the case, I don't think there should be any arguments about the game being released for PS2 because: 1. I highly doubt Square would make a sequel to one of their most popular franchises for a last-gen console, and 2. Considering all the projects Nomura has going on right now, I doubt we'll see another Kingdom Hearts game (not counting spinoffs) for another two years at the very least.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Nomura said that development for KH3 would begin until after Versus was released. By that time I'm sure the PS2 will be long gone, and even if it wasn't, releasing the game on it would show a lack of progress on the developer's part. In my opinion it wouldn't make any sense, considering the PS3 is a much more powerful console.

Again, I'm a little out of the loop as to what was being discussed in this thread earlier, so feel free to correct me if I'm missing something.

I believe that guy's name is Xehanort from what I read of the Birth By Sleep info, so I'm pretty sure the connection is there.

I very much expect KH III would come out on PS3, though I think it'd be much more fun on the Wii. You could swing your wii controller around as the keyblade, it'd be great!
