I think it was stated that Sora would not be the main character, but it also said that it didnt mean the 3 main people (Sora, Kairi, Riku) will not be there.

Remember, he said it was in the past, but also in the future (in a way). The three cannot be everywhere at once.

But companies do not create sequels to a game without the original main characters (USUALLY, rarely it happens). Sora and the gang will make an appearance in KH3, but we just dont know how much or who will be the ACTUAL main character.

The additions to Org XIII is a bogus rumor started by some kid on the KH site I think...

Yeah, I read on a site where they interviewed the maker of Kingdom Hearts that he was going to give Sora a break.

Did you not read that article yourself? He CLEARLY mentions that KH3 ISN'T the next KH title that they're going to be making, and that the title that they will make could be on the DS, PSP or Mobile.

What we're talking about is KH3, which will most likely be on the PS3 if any console. So I fail to see where you get the "KH3 will be on the PSP/DS/Mobile" idea from

We know it will exist in the future from the "secret" ending that was present at the end of KH2. I very much doubt that was for anything other than KH3.

Here is my theory. I think that in the beginning of kh3 some epic problem is going to occur and king mickeys letter that you saw at the end of kh2 tells Sora and his friends to meet him . Sora and all of his friends go see King Mickey, and he explains to them that the problem is caused by the old man in the trailer at the end of kh2 final mix. This problem is also going to be caused by something the old man does in the past. I also think that the battle we saw between the knights turns out badly. The old guy wins and he uses his power to destroy all the keyblade owners because in the past everybody has a keyblade and its a normal thing.Thats why you saw so many keyblades in the trailer it is kinda like a key blade graveyard.Thats why Sora's is so rare. Some people choose the old man's side and others choose the knight's side hence the keyblade wars. So, its up to mickey to travel back in time and make sure that the knights win the battle to prevent this problem from happening and mickey needs to make sure that the old guy looses. Now if u disagree thats okay everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Well thanks from the KH2 Secret ending and the KH2 FM ending its clear that there will be a KH3 which Nomura calls a new Series. Rather than a sequel.

I think one of the main questions with this game is, 'Who are we going to be playing as?' For some reason I don't think we'll be Aqua, Ven, or Terra.

I debated this b4 but i think its going to be Sora. Since he is the main character of KH. Also How would Time travel work exactly. Maybe whats going to happen is Mickey is waiting for Sora and the others to join the fight and team of with the three new characters to beat this new villain.

I think that you may play as them for the beginning section (like Roxas in KHII), but other than that your not going to play again (well one of the characters anyway). I think as finalblade98 said, Sora will indeed be the main character of KH3 as he has been in the previous two.

Oh and I think we guys should remmber that it being Kingdom Hearts, means that maybe what we saw is another "Futuristic" world, much like the one shown at the end of KHI and that we finished the game on, in KHII. Also we did go back in time at one stage in the game, so I guess it's not completely unlikely. But as I said before, I still do doubt that it will happen.
