Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ have unlockable teasers that show new characters in armor, named Terra, Aqua, and Ven. Tetsuya Nomura has stated that the characters are related to one or more characters already introduced in the Kingdom Hearts series. He has also stated he has ideas for another installment. However, he did not state exactly what he would like to do with a new installment. The proposed new game was described as a side story that would focus on other characters. The Kingdom Hearts team postponed Kingdom Hearts projects to be able to work on Final Fantasy Versus XIII. In 2006, Nomura stated in Famitsu that there were multiple Kingdom Hearts projects in the works, although what those projects consist of is not known. Nomura has referred to further sequels as a whole new series and stated, "The next title won't just be Kingdom Hearts III. If it were III, we wouldn't call it a new series." He also hinted that this "new series" might involve the character Xehanort. Other information involved the games possibly being developed on a portable system and an explanation of King Mickey's acquisition of his Keyblade.

At the 2007 Tokyo Game Show, three new installments in the series were revealed. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, focusing on Roxas, will be released for the Nintendo DS, while Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, focusing on characters Terra, Ven, and Aqua, previously mentioned, will be released on the PlayStation Portable. Another game, Kingdom Hearts coded, will be released to mobile phones. Currently the titles are only confirmed for a Japanese release, though Square has plans for releases in other territories. Alright im a new member but i have a lot of info on khIII such as the three armored ppl they are really sora, riku, and the future sora. confused? well it gets worse the new main bad guy is like a bad@$$ mage who creates a giant cliff and starts casting spells well sora gets to the top of the cliff and runs at the enemy who casts a spell that disarms sora he then picks sora up by the head and as sora is flailing to get out of his grip this mage casts an extremely powerful blizzard spell through his hand and freezes sora solid and then throws sora off the cliff riku was watching and as sora falls his helmet shatters and thats how his identity is revealed and right before he hits the ground riku catches him before he shatters into a million pieces he glares up as the third guy who is later revealed as sora from the future runs up all the meanwhile the king has been watching and waiting to join the fray

New announcement by Square or whatever...
KHIII will be released sooner then expected!!

yes, it moved up from 2021 to 2015... im feeling lucky tonight fellows...

The actual game has yet to be even announced yet, so everything you find on the Internet that mentions KHIII is pure speculation, therefore I advise you not to listen to anything that gets posted up until Square Enix confirms there is a KHIII and I'm speculating for another year before the game is confirmed.

they alreday confirmed the game's creation, just not the title or the relaese date yet.

I expect to see it's arrival in 2^nd-quarter 2008, at the earliest, and 1^st- quarter 2009.


If Square Enix would release more information to the public, instead of E-mailing the large gaming sites who filter the information, I'm sure we'd know much more than we do now.

If they put the last aladdin movie world in there there would be some interesting places, like a giant turtle with a palace on it's back. I'd be interested to see another "realistic" disney world, like mary poppins, swiss family robinson, or even a pete's dragon world. It'd be even cooler to have two storylines, Mickey, donald, and goofy's story, and sora, kairi, and riku's story. Kinda like reverse/rebirth in CoM. Two stories for the price of one. Another cool thing I thought of would be support characters, or character specific limits, like Donald could call up his cousins and do a Three caballeros attack, or goofy could call Max and do a father-son attack. That's all I have to say about that.

I think the game is good but its lacking certain things,
but you should alwaya create new characters to make it diffrent and funner sence each character has diffrent task.
